Itraconazole tablets and capsules are used to treat fungal infections of the toenails. Itraconazole is in a class of antifungals called triazoles.

It has great affinity for highly keratinized tissues such as skin and nails, as well as for the vaginal wall lining. Therapeutic levels of itraconazole remain in the skin for two to four weeks following the end of treatment, depending on its duration.

Itraconazole 100mg Capsules are an antifungal medication that is used in adults to treat infections caused by fungus. This includes infections in any part of the body including the lungs, mouth or throat, toenails, or fingernails. Some brands of itraconazole are not for use in treating fungal infections of the fingernails or toenails. They are used for the treatment of systemic fungal infections, including blastomycosis (pulmonary and extrapulmonary), histoplasmosis and aspergillosis (pulmonary and extrapulmonary). Itraconazole 100mg Capsules are very efficient.
